A stadium system designed around an existing structure
Atlanta’s Turner Field received a distributed Danley system in 2009, when the venue was home to the Braves. The portfolio describes more than 400 custom loudspeakers, including SH95, SH46 and SH25 models, supplied for the project. The venue subsequently became Georgia State’s stadium. This historical example concerns a large distributed installation designed to fit an existing stadium rather than a small number of long-throw sources.
Design considerations
Stadium projects can involve many different source locations. Consistency, practical mounting, cable routes and service access become central when the design is distributed across the building.
