New Orleans live act The Phunky Monkeys performs at weddings, corporate events and concerts, moving through rooms and audiences that rarely offer the same conditions twice.
The brief
A busy event band needs a system that travels efficiently, creates a quiet and controllable stage and still delivers full-range impact to the audience. Consistency from venue to venue matters as much as headline output.
The system
The band has used Danley equipment since 2015. In one 800-person concert example, four TH118XL subwoofers were coupled at the centre and two SM80 loudspeakers carried the mid/high programme, demonstrating how a small source count can serve a substantial audience.
The result
The system gives the production team the detail, bass coherence and efficiency needed for a varied performance schedule. It is a practical touring example rather than a fixed architectural installation: fewer enclosures, fewer interactions and less equipment to move.
