Scoreboard-mounted coverage at Sanford Stadium
The University of Georgia’s Sanford Stadium in Athens used five J3 Jericho Horns in the scoreboard for the opposite end zone and adjoining stands. Three OS80 loudspeakers provide downfill to seating immediately below. TSAV installed the documented system. The pairing illustrates how high-output mains and more local coverage can serve different distances from one main installation area.
Design considerations
When designing from a scoreboard, check shadowed and nearby seating explicitly. Those areas can need a different pattern and level from the loudspeakers covering the far side of the venue.
