Renewing a large college worship and events centre
Pensacola Christian College’s nearly 6,000-seat Crowne Centre serves chapel, concerts, student events and broadcast services. All Pro Sound renewed the system after two decades of use. Danley reports that the installation reduced the loudspeaker count from 136 to 74 and consolidated amplification to 11 Danley units. The project’s product selection includes J7-95, GO2 8CX and TH118XL systems. Its rotating stage adds another layer of operational complexity.
Design considerations
A shared worship and events venue needs intelligible speech, musical headroom and predictable operation across room configurations. Evaluate infrastructure and service access alongside the equipment count.
