Two scoreboard positions at Michigan State
Michigan State University’s Spartan Stadium used mirrored Danley systems at its north-east and north-west scoreboards. Each position carries J3 Jericho Horns for long and intermediate throws, with a vertical stack of TH812 subwoofers. SH46 loudspeakers fill areas near the scoreboards and beneath balconies that the larger sources do not reach directly. The case study shows a coverage plan built around the stadium’s physical geometry.
Design considerations
Multiple scoreboard systems need coordinated timing and coverage boundaries. Map the near seats, balcony shadows and overlap zones before finalising cabinet orientation and processing.
