Discreet audio at Maker’s Mark Distillery
Maker’s Mark refreshed its visitor centre at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, Kentucky, with JCA Media and a system incorporating Danley equipment. The visitor experience called for audio that fitted the setting visually. The project uses compact Nano and Cube loudspeakers, including weather-protected outdoor units and custom finishes; the portfolio also identifies THMINI and SBH20 products. The result is an installation designed around tours and hospitality rather than a conventional stage.
Design considerations
Visitor attractions need consistent audio across movement routes and gathering points. Speaker finish, location and zoning can be as important to the brief as maximum output.
