A university gym for ceremonies and sport
Dankook University’s gymnasium in Cheonan, South Korea, serves athletic events and graduation ceremonies. Its documented Danley system combines SH46 main loudspeakers with SM100 downfills and TH115 subwoofers. The arrangement assigns different coverage jobs to mains and fills while providing a low-frequency foundation for music. It offers a regional example of a multi-use education venue rather than a purpose-built concert hall.
Design considerations
School and university gyms often have reflective finishes and changing layouts. Plan coverage for both seated ceremonies and sporting crowds, including the transition between the main system and nearby fills.
