Coverage planning for a 600-seat Florida sanctuary
Calvary Chapel in Vero Beach replaced its smaller sanctuary with a 600-seat room for contemporary worship. Propulsion AV worked with Danley engineers on the design and commissioning. The documented system uses a centre SH96 with an SH95 front fill, two SH60 side fills and a flown DBH218 subwoofer. Two DNA 20K4 Pro amplifiers provide power and processing. Danley’s historical account describes detailed aiming and commissioning support to concentrate coverage on the congregation.
Design considerations
For a new sanctuary, include seating geometry, room finishes and loudspeaker aiming in the design brief. A clear plan for mains and fills helps coordinate sound with architecture before installation.
