Sanctuary, overflow and gym coverage in Salt Lake City
Calvary Baptist Church in Salt Lake City, Utah, is a separate project from Calvary Chapel Vero Beach. Its documented sanctuary system uses two closely grouped SH60 loudspeakers, SM96 fills and delays, and two TH118 subwoofers. Additional loudspeakers serve an adjacent overflow area and gym. AVE used coverage modelling to check the design before installation.
Design considerations
Multi-room worship sites need clear boundaries between reinforcement zones. Consider what happens when overflow is open, when the gym runs independently, and when operators switch between those modes.
