A lounge system shaped around conversation
Broken Promises in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a sister venue to Lost & Found, but its audio brief differs. The cocktail lounge called for even coverage and a relaxed atmosphere rather than the concentrated energy of a dance floor. Danley GO2 8CX and OS80 loudspeakers, supported by subwoofers, were selected for that environment. The OS80 appears here indoors because its coverage suited the room.
Design considerations
Hospitality systems should follow the intended experience. A lounge may need comfortable, even music levels across seating, while an adjoining dance space needs a different balance of headroom and bass.
