Preserving sightlines at Atlanta First United Methodist
Atlanta First United Methodist Church needed more even coverage while working around an organ and restricted suspension positions. Danley’s documented centre cluster combines SH50 and SM100 loudspeakers with TH115 subwoofers. The design sought to direct energy away from reflective surfaces while limiting its visual impact on the church interior. It is a heritage-sensitive installation reference rather than a template to copy unchanged.
Design considerations
In traditional churches, agree acceptable mounting positions with the building team early. Coverage modelling should work within those constraints and identify where a fill is preferable to increasing main-system level.
