Coverage for riders and spectators in Alachua County
The Alachua County Agriculture and Equestrian Center in Newberry, Florida, hosts horse shows across indoor and outdoor facilities. JSC Systems used 13 OS80 loudspeakers and four THMINI15 subwoofers in the covered arena, setting delays for both riders and the gallery. OS80 and OS12CX loudspeakers serve the outdoor arena and surrounding audience areas. The project combines distributed coverage with weather-conscious product selection.
Design considerations
Equestrian facilities need intelligibility in the working arena as well as the stands. Include rider positions, background activity and delayed loudspeaker alignment in the design, rather than treating the gallery as the only audience.
